Privacy Policy

This site is run by Celal Koca, a personal trainer in Vancouver, BC, under the name Built with Celal. This policy explains what personal information the site collects, why, and how you can see, correct or delete it. It follows British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
What is collected and why
Coaching applications
When you apply, you give your name, email, location, goals, training experience, schedule, training setup, any injuries or limitations, and your availability. Injury information is health information; share only what you are comfortable with. It is used only to review your application, plan safe training and contact you about coaching. The site does not store your application. It is checked by the site and then sent to Celal by email through FormSubmit, a form delivery service, and you can also send the same summary yourself on WhatsApp.
Reviews
If you leave a review, your name, review text, training length and any photos you choose to add are stored privately until Celal approves them. Location data is removed from photos. Only your first name and last initial are published, and photos only if you tick the separate photo box. You can ask for a review or photo to be removed at any time.
Visit statistics
The site uses Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and visits. It does not use cookies, does not follow you across other sites and reports totals, not individuals. The hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and browser) for security.
The site assistant
The chat assistant runs in your browser. What you type into it is not sent to or stored by the site.
Cookies
The site does not set cookies for visitors. The only cookie is a login cookie for Celal's private review admin page.
Where your information is stored
The site is hosted by Vercel, and reviews are stored in Vercel Blob storage in the United States. Applications pass through FormSubmit and arrive in Celal's email inbox. Information stored outside Canada may be subject to the laws of that country.
How long it is kept
Applications are kept only as long as needed to respond to you and, if you become a client, to coach you safely. Reviews stay published until you ask for removal. Unpublished or rejected reviews are deleted.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information held about you, correct it, withdraw your consent or have it deleted. Email builtbycelal@gmail.com and you will get an answer within 30 days. Personal information is never sold or shared for advertising.
If you are not satisfied with the answer, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.
